  1. 1. I chose this project because this project seemed the most interesting and I had thought that this project would allow me to learn the most.
    2. I once in a while help give suggestions on how to make the project easier and help out in the building of the structure.
    3. The structure was first built from two pieces, and the two pieces simply refuse to fit with each other when built finished. We had to make a lot of adjustment to the two parts in order for them to fit.
    4. Through the project, I discovered the behaviors of my project teammates and allowed me to discover more about myself.
    5. As an individual, I have learnt more about how the materials affect structures, how the structure can be built to be the most efficient in the area it is supposed to be, etc.
    6. I aspire to be what interests me. There is no use doing something just for the money or for the sake of it. If I were to do what interests me, it would help me to have success in my interests. If my work is my fun, then I do not need to do work my whole life, I just need to have fun

  2. 1. I choose this project because.....

I assumed that this project would be able to benefit the most. Especially in the area of engineering, which I am interested.

    2. My role in the group .....

I was like a coordinator, but not really. But I managed to do things such as the management of the blog, and other stuff.

    3. Challenges encountered when working on this project. how the group overcome the challenges?

We basically worked together as a team. If we were not working as a team, there would be nothing we could ever learn from this project. All takeaways would be mainly hatred towards one another.

    4. Through this project, I discover.....

I have discovered how to communicate well with people especially about 10 years older than me, in an informal way. This is indeed remarkable.

    5. As an individual, how i have benefited from SST-NTU flagship programme?

I have discovered how to communicate well with people especially about 10 years older than me, in an informal way. This is indeed remarkable.

    6. My Aspirations...

I aspire to be able to do things that are able interest me. Doing things that interests me would help me to excel in it and instead of wasting time on your own life.

  3. 1) I choose this project as it was related to service learning, it is a project to help the people in developing or third-world countries to generate electricity to charge a battery so that they can have energy.

    2) I helped to build the structure and also gave suggestions to improve the structure.

    3) We worked together to adjust the structure and put the structures together.

    4) I have discovered that structures could be built in a number or ways and also how a simple circuit works.

    5) I have benefited by taking away knowledge from the programme and also made new friends.

    6) I aspire to be able to do things that interest me. Doing things that interest me would be more interesting instead of spending my life on things that I consider a chore.

  4. 1. I choose this project because it's mainly building and constructing. All hands on and it's about engineering!
    2. My role in the group presenter, and I build!
    3. Challenges encountered when working on this project. how the group overcome the challenges?
When we are first building the structure, we experienced difficulties but we worked together and the model worked.
    4. Through this project, i discover more about electronics and how they work. The conversion of energy to one form to another through demonstration.
    5. As an individual, how i have benefited from SST-NTU flagship programme?
    6. My Aspirations...

  5. 1. Actually, i did not choose this project as my first choice. I chose another project as my first choice because i was more interested in biotechnology but i did not get put into that project. Project 10 was actually my second choice. However i do have interest in physics. To me, energy conversion is very interesting and i also see possibilities in this area in the future.

    2. My role in the group is a normal member who helps with the building of the infrastructure.

    3. The group was faced with difficulties in trying to set up the structures as we got most of the joints in the wrong place.

    4. I have discovered many other new things about electronics and physics, like how magnetic fields and forces can help generate power, about resistance of magnetic forces, etc.

    5. I feel that in the future, after this exposure and opportunity to come to NTU, i feel that i might have a better understanding and might benefit by joining NTU in the future.

    6. My aspiration is to be a nanotechnologist or a biotechnologist doing genetic engineering.

  6. 1. I chose this project as I felt that it would be very interesting and I would be able to contribute to make this project a success. I also chose it as I like making stuff and this would be a challenge to me.
    2. I felt role in the group was more of a builder than a thinker.I was able to contribute to the group by building the structure.
    3. There were a few challenges during the project but I feel that the most challenging problem was to align the structure so that we were able to fit the bicycle without much problems. Our group overcame it through the use of trial and error and through listening to the advice of both the student leaders and our fellow group mates
    4. Through this project I discovered some important information about circuits and generators such as the principle of dynamos like the use of magnets in these generators
5.I learnt some hidden talents that I probably would not have know if not for this project. One of it was idea generation where I can out with some good ideas to help the group progress faster.I believe that this would help me in the future
    6. I aspire to one day contribute and revolutionize the world through the use of science and technology.
